Found: The Best Burgers in Paradise

So you’ve hit the gym all week and now it’s time to cast self-discipline aside and smash a burger – because we all know deprivation is toxic to the soul.

But in a city soaked with burger joints, it would be a travesty to smack those lips around anything less than the perfect patty.

For a cheat meal that is just too good to keep secret, we declare Betty’s Burgers and Concrete Co. the unofficial home of the best burgers in Surfers Paradise.

As part of a beautiful family spreading burger love around the nation, Betty’s Burgers at Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre is one of three Gold Coast restaurants serving up prime cuts of Angus beef slathered in Betty’s famous special sauce between a dreamy soft bun.

But your food coma doesn’t stop there – Betty’s other specialty is her rich and creamy custard desserts, combined with an unbelievably wicked selection of mix-ins.

Think chocolate custard with peanut brittle, hot fudge sauce and vanilla cream; or vanilla custard with Dello Mano spiced pecans, sticky date pudding, salted caramel sauce, and banana cream. O-M-Gorge.

At the other end of the scales, Betty’s also caters to those scrimping on carbs, with the Bare Betty serving up all the goods minus the bun.

Speaking of scrimping, did we mention Betty’s Classic will set you back a mere ten bucks? Or for an even fancier fix, there’s burgers starring zingy southern fried chicken, slow cooked crispy pork belly, and for the veggie lovers -- crispy fried mushrooms filled with dripping Gouda and Gruyere cheese. Drool.

With its trademark pastel colours and 50s burger shack vibe designed to ‘bring the beach to the city’, Betty’s couldn’t be more at home at Surfers Paradise. So buckle up and loosen those belt buckles for a ride into burger paradise you will not soon forget.

Betty’s Burgers is open at Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre from 11am to late, seven days a week.
